AquaSmart took part in the project “Household Rainwater Harvesting Technology” which was run by the the National Centre of Research and Development from 2021 to 2023. The formula of granting the contract was very innovative itself as the pre-commercial procurment was used and the selection of contractors was based on the competitive criteria. The enterprise was divided into two phases. During the first one the project teams were developing the prototype of the Household Rainwater Harvesting Systems, which were later assessed by the expert panel. AquaSmart system met the strict competition criteria and was selected to the second phase of the competition, which resulted in building the full scale demonstrators. The project was in 100 % subsidised with the European Fund as a part of the Grean Deal allocation. The value of the first phase of the project was      1 645 797,00 PLN and the second one was 1 847 974,98 PLN.
