The most often applied methods are mechanical filters, ultrafiltration, UV sterilization, biological treatment plants, UF treatment plants and ozonation. If the quality of well water or pipe water does not meet standards, reverse osmosis can be used to improve its parameters, for example, turbidity, micro-organic contamination, TDS. The use of rainwater requires at least prefiltration, ultrafiltration and UV sterilization. When rainwater will be used only for irrigation the mechanical filtration is sufficient. Sewage water treated in a biological treatment plant can also be used for watering garden. However,\u00a0 the UF treatment plant is recommended, especially when directing water to sprinklers. Using grey water for flushing toilets means that the technological schemes involve biological and UF treatment plant. The water in retention tank should be ozonated as it prevents the loss of quality of stored
